Julie celebrates the end of her internship by inviting her office colleagues to share a raclette. She fully intends to use the meal to get a striking message across.
The film
Short film made for Kino Session #51 in Bordeaux. The set theme was « Raclette » and the constraint « Vegan ». The film was made with the Beau Harry theatre company. Behind the scenes: on the day of the shoot, the crew discovered that one of the actresses could not stand cheese. The smell alone was unbearable to her. Movie magic: the crew cheated and made it look like she was eating the famous poisoned raclette, when all she swallowed was salad. The actress spent the rest of the shoot with a handkerchief over her mouth, while the windows of the set stayed wide open to air the room… in the middle of February. Selected out of competition at the « Tout court » festival in Gisors.
