In the near future, justice has been fully privatised and investigations are run by freelance detectives. Blondie Maxwell gets by on small jobs but dreams of catching Boloch, the most wanted man in the country, with a 3 million bounty on his head. While investigating the murder of a young woman, she has a suspect arrested who seems guilty on every count.

Carnages was born in 1999 from a group of friends, homemade shoots and a shared love of cinema. The production company was officially launched in 2015 in Bordeaux.
We make phantasmagorias here: absurd, spectacular genre cinema with the energy of comic books, inventing its own worlds. Beneath the entertainment there is always a social and political resonance we fully own, like the gig economy in Blondie Maxwell or the contagious madness of Ultimate Chabite, in competition at BIFFF in 2024. Faced with violence and injustice, our weapon remains irony, mockery and dark humour. Today, Carnages relies on a team of talents in Nouvelle-Aquitaine to keep making cinema that lets you escape and makes you think.
